Intra Oral Cheiloplasty is the procedure for lip restoration to attain lip fullness and better shape with most of the procedure done within the oral cavity.

Story of a successful intraoral cheiloplasty:

                  At Richardsons, a patient who has been under our medical supervision for the past 10 years had undergone her primary cleft repair elsewhere and had initially come for fistula closure. The closure and bilateral bone grafting was done. This was eventually followed by the distraction to bring the upper jaw forward. Finally, the nose procedure was done and then orthodontics and fixed partial dentures was installed too. After these series of surgeries, the patient had come back again for the restoration of her lip and few scar removal.

The lip restoration was done by increasing the thickness of the orbicularis oris and also the scars were removed externally and making the lip more fuller and with better shape.  Thus, latest corrective surgeries as such play a very important role in boosting one’s smile and appearance. Our goal is to have a society where people will have no such defects as mentioned above in the future through our advanced corrective procedures.
